Readers, my apologies. Especially those of you that just recently "met" me during my Armchair BEA introduction post last week. I totally fell off the Armchair BEA map after that, thereby labeling myself as the equivalent of a juvenile delinquent in the book blogger world. I wanted to participate more--cross my heart and hope to die. But life got in the way, and...that's all I got by way of excuses.
However, I will be gracing you with 2 pieces of news in the next few weeks, which should somewhat explain my recent ineptitude in the blogosphere. In the meantime, please feel free to speculate on what these pieces of news might be. Winner's crown goes to the commenter who can come up with the most insane explanation. Am I opening a gecko farm in Malaysia with Prince Harry? THAT'S FOR YOU TO FIND OUT.
Anyway, I will continue posting my reviews and such like usual, and I have a special vacation-style series of guest posts coming up soon, so I promise I still have a lot to offer! PLEASE CONTINUE TO LOVE ME, AS I LOVE YOU.
See you soon, lovahs.

Hmmm... was it an emergency trip to Australia to pick up a rare first edition book worth millions, but you won on Ebay for only a penny?

Oh how I WISH! Emergency trips to Australia are the best kinds of trips.
DeleteDid The Doctor sweep you away to different times and places?
ReplyDelete(missed ya!)
Haha, I get that this is a Doctor Who reference, though I admit I have never seen the show...I guess I need to get on that :)
DeleteI missed everyone too!! Seemed like an awesome time.
Life getting in the way of blogging is better than blogging getting in the way of life... or so I've been told by those not glued to their computers.
ReplyDeleteA very true point...I try not to let the latter happen (too much). :)
DeleteIt's okay! I'm excited for the news! And here's another excited sentence ending in an exclamation point! lol
ReplyDeleteYou are clearly not excited enough. Need more !!!! and CAPITAL LETTERS!!!! And EMOTICONS!!!! :-O
DeleteThere's always next year for Armchair BEA! I hope the surprise news is not the gecko farm because you might start posting photos of lizards and their food (bugs?, worms?, other lizards?) and I won't be able to visit your blog anymore!
ReplyDeletePerhaps I will need to find a way to censor the geckos for easier public consumption...
DeleteI'm going to say you're in a top secret mission, adventuring through the rainforests to find a new organic denture cream. How's that for loopy? LOL!
ReplyDeleteI LIKE IT! Organic denture cream has a surprisingly high appeal I bet...
DeleteI've got it! You were at the ACTUAL BEA and don't want to tell us and inflame all the jealousy that's sure to happen?
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back and of course we still looooove you!
I flipping WISH!! Haha! I am still green with envy over all the BEA Recap posts floating around this week! :)
DeleteExciting! It was Professor Plum in the library with the lead piping and you've been watching re-runs of Jumanji in an attempt to work out how to get into the game and sort it all out.
ReplyDeleteSo far this is definitely the leader, for managing to combine Clue with a Jumanji reference. WIN!
DeleteYou are teleporting to an alternate reality which is need of saving from a zombie apocolypse, and if you can them, maybe you can save us when the zombies come!
ReplyDeleteOooh I like it. I enjoy picturing myself as a zombie bad-ass, even though I'm sure in real life I would be a zombie pansy-ass.
DeleteYou have provided valuable data for us. It is great and informative for everyone. Keep posting always. I am very thankful to you. Denture clinic
